Shanghai. SIGHTS OF INTEREST. Oriental Perl TV Tower
 

This tower is the third tallest TV tower in the world. It’s surpassed in height by a tower in Toronto, Canady and a tower in Moscow, Russia. It’s 468 meters high (1 536 feet). The tower has unique architectural design: the entire structure looks like pearls shining on a jade plate. That makes it one of the most attractive places over the world. 

Variety of activities is available inside the tower. The Shanghai Municipal History Museum is located in the pedestal of the tower. You can see the whole way to the Yangtze River from fabulous sightseeing Hall that is at the low area of the tower. There is a hotel consisting of 25 rooms and lounges here too. There are shops, restaurants one of them is a rotatory restaurant, sightseeing floor are at the very top of the tower. You’ll get a miracle view of Shanghai from here! Having visited this tower you’ll agree that “oriental pearl” is the most correct name for it.
