GUILIN
Guilin is an ancient city situated on the shore of the mesmerizing Lijiang River in the northeastern part of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The serene mountains, crystal clear waters, exotic rocks, karst landmass of the Lijiang River basin, hills with the verdant vegetation ranging from bamboo to confers, fantastic limestone growth resembling fairy flowers, huge stalactites and stalagmites in the numerous unique caves, that is everything that inspires the saying “The landscape of Guilin is the unmatched city under the Heaven”. And really the landscape of Guilin is stunning! This city combines natural beauty and historic treasures. It’s has been both an important cultural city and political and economic center of Guangxi during 2100 years since the time of the Northern Song Dynasty (960 - 1127).
There are many ethnic minorities live here. You can see unique customs and festivals of the Zhuang, Yao, Miao, Mulao, Maonan and Dong minorities in the Li River Folk Customs Center or Lijiang National Folklore Park.
Speaking about Guilin people say about its four particularities such as divinely beautiful rivers, mountains, caves abundance, picturesque rocks.
You have nothing to do just come and see Fubo Hill that restrains the waters of the Lijing River,
Nanxi Hill that stands magnificently like a huge screen and many other fabulous spots by yourself!
