Ancient palaces and courtyard buildings built in a simple and elegant architectural style of the Tang Dynasty. Large collection of 115 000 historical and cultural artifacts of the pre-historical and bronze periods, of the great number of dynasties such as Zhou (11th century BC – 256 BC), Qing (221 BC – 206 BC), Han (206 BC - 220) and Tang (618 - 907) found in Shaanxi Province. You’ll find here terra cotta figures of various dynasties, tri-color pottery and murals, gold and silver vessels of the Tang Dynasty, costumes of women, bronze ware of the Shang and Zhou dynasties, cutting tools dated 1 million years, pottery wind instrument of the Neolithic Age (6 000 years ago). You’ll learn much about the history of Shaanxi Province visiting this museum.
