You'll find here paintings, carvings and sculptures in wood and stone, appliques of famous artists, sculptors and craftsmen of Mongolia. All of them represent nomadic life of Mongolians and you'll realize every aspect of this life easier after coming here.
The majority part of the collection was made by the revered sculptor and artist Zanabazar. But you'll see even sculptures by the first Bogd Khaan (king) of Mongolia. Five Dhyani, or Contemplation, Buddhas (cast in 1683) and Tara in her 21 manifestations. Wonderful tsam masks (worn by monks during religious ceremonies) and the intricate paintings, One Day in Mongolia and The Airag Feast, by renowned artist В. Sharav. Some copies of portraits of the great khaans and some Turkic stone carvings of the 7th century .
Exhibition contains other rare, and sometimes old, religious exhibits such as scroll paintings (thangka) and Buddhist statues.
