It was opened in 1966. Pictures by Russian artists of the 18th-20th centuries, Western European artists and artists from Primorye are displayed in the Gallery.
Ancient Russian icons and works by renowned Russian artists of the 19th-20th centuries such as K. Bryulov, I. Levitan, I. Shishkin, I. Aivazovsky, I. Repin, V. Kandinsky and M. Shagal. The archives are estimated at over 5000 units of storage.
