Ust-Barguzin village (description of accommodation)
If you go for a tour to the Lake Baikal you need a night minimum to stay
somewhere and you'll see why. It takes 3.5 hours by a car from Ulan-Ude to
Ust-Barguzin and back again 3.5 hours. So if you have a tour at the lake you
need at least 7 hours and even more!
Accommodation is available with families. 2 guests in a room,
maximum 4 guests in a family. If you are a group you will be in different
families, different houses. Toilet are in a special cabin with a hole in the
ground but out of the house (typical for Russian and Buryat villages). There are
some houses with standard toilet room in a house but they are just a few and we
can't guarantee their availability for you. But we'll do our best of cause
trying to check you in such houses.
Meals - full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner). If you are away for a tour,
lunch will be included in the tour. Meals with hostess. Local cuisine. The
majority of dishes is baikal omul. But they have an experience in
vegetarian meals also (let us know about it during booking).
Prime season - the whole year round.
Included: accommodation, meals and bath house use.
